Elisha Francis was awarded Innovation in the Creative Sector by GLE one London March 2010. Elisha was born in South East London. Elisha Francis studied her Foundation Diploma in Art & Design at Camberwell College of Arts and Interior Design and Retail Design at London College of Communication.
Previous to this she studied textiles and thought that this would be the path she would have as a career. In August 2003 while on a trip to John Lewis's haberdashery department store on Oxford Street she made her first pair of earrings and it was then that she knew exactly how she could turn her talents for design into a business venture.
Her love of all things beautiful led her to use her design skills to create imaginative pieces of jewelry using a variety of materials including semi precious stones, pearls and crystals.
Elisha stated "I want the person wearing my jewelry to feel like a Superstar, I want the women to feel sophisticated, glamorous and beautiful, and I want the men to feel, empowered, stylish and complete." She now produces glamorous and eye-catching pieces that have been featured in SHE Carribbean, Colures, Pride and Touch magazine to name a few.

Astley Clarke is an award winning designer and contemporary jeweler from Bec Astley Clarke. AstleyClarke.com, is "The Best Jewelry Shop Online", states The Sunday Times. Forrester's Consumer Technographics data says that eight out of ten "high net worth consumers" are researching and buying online.
Bec Astley Clarke, a former executive at Tesco.com, founded the website in 2006. This award winning UK designer/jeweler is based in the heart of London, catering to the wealthy. Bec Astley Clarke also brought to life her passion for fine jewelry when she founded Astley Clarke.
As a talented internet entrepreneur, Bec was fueled by her belief that there was a lack of creatively designed, fine jewelry available online for the new generation of luxury customer. Readdressing this imbalance, Astley Clarke's vision is to celebrate design and craftsmanship in fine jewelry and to reinstate the colored gemstone as the hero of every stylish woman's wardrobe – whatever the occasion.
Astley Clarke designs its own exquisite jewelry collections in addition to housing the very best edit of international jewelry designers.
Recycled Designer Jewelry

While people can debate the costs and benefits of plastic, no one wants to see it leaching poisonous chemicals into our landfills. Companies and individuals around the world have found some very innovative uses for post-consumer and recycled plastics, but not many have attempted to use it to create beautiful designer jewelry. That is what makes British designer Tonya O'Hara's work so unique.
She takes salvaged PET plastic bottles and slices and shapes each piece by hand to create modern wearable art that can be worn anywhere. O'Hara studied jewelry-making at Loughborough University and the School of Jewellry in Birmingham. She wanted to start her own line fresh out of college, but had to raise the money first, so she taught for eight years at secondary schools before founding PET:cell in 2010.
